Education and awards

I have studied at the Yerevan Institute of Theatre and Cinematography - Director of Dramatic Theatre BA and then MA programs. While studying, in 2009, with my performance, "the “Wild west” I participated in the international “Delphic Games”,  and won the “best artistic character” prize. The next creation was “Mozart and Salieri” based on A.S. Pushkin's play, in which I mixed classical theatre with modern dance moves, and it was something new back then spatially in Armenia. Being a 23-year-old boy, I was invited to present “Mozart and Salieri” at the theatre directors festival hosted by the Theatre Workers Union of Armenia, where I was the youngest director (It wasn’t a competition, but I received a diploma of participation). In 2013 As my final project of the Dramatic theatre director BA program, I made the performance “Sidzaru”. Based on the play I wrote. It has participated in the “Art Fest” theatre festival and won the bronze medal.

LINVIS

I am a co-founder and the director of the "LINVIS PRODUCTION", which is a new rising filmmaking team. I have started the production with Ida Manaserian during the covid-19 pandemic lockdown, and published our first short film on our YouTube channel (called LINVIS PRODUCTION) at  17/september/2020. So Linvis is basically a platform for directors, actors, writers, camera men and all the professionals who are  included in the filmmaking process, to create and gain experience. Exchange Ideas and create films. During this one year many students and filmmakers have joined us.

MA program awards and work experience

In 2014, started a MA degree course at the Yerevan Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, and in the same year did the A. Strogonov’s “Babylon” performance.In 2015 I became the main Director assistant of the National Academic Theatre After G.Sundukyan. In the same year I was invited to Beirut, I worked with the “Ahlam Events” for three months.Coming back to Armenia in 2016, I made a performance «The Rebellion», which after performing in Yerevan was invited to participate in the “Armmono festival” 2017.Simultaneously I began to work with advertisement companies. We were hosting creative events. In public areas, we were making little theatrical scenes, where the product was being advertised. We made public advertisements for the “Samsung” company’s new products and the “Erebuni-Yerevan” events.In December 2017, with my performance “Over Time” I participated in the “Fiestalonia Theatre Talents Festival” in Spain. Here I received the Bronze MedalIn 2018, I received a staging order from the Armenian Ministry of Culture. I made the performance called “That Love” which was invited to participate in “Armmono Festival”։ After the festival I have been invited to work with Yerevan State Pantomime Theatre.
